Hi, I've been programming my own DVD info tool (just for kicks) and I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of some information about the structure of information in ADIP? Cheers David

Firstly sorry if this has been suggested before, I can't tell as the board search function now only allows searching on words over 4 letters long - which is a bit limiting when you're searching for DDP, ISO, CD, DVD, Etc. ! The only time where I use any other burn software now (as ImgBurn is so good) is when I have to create DDPs or write DDPs to a CD/DVD. Looking into DDPs a bit more I discovered that the DDP specification was free if you fill in a form: http://www.dcainc.com/products/ddplicense/index.html It'd certainly be nice if ImgBurn had DDP 2.10 support, and would be something plenty of companies would pay/donate for. Anyway something for you to mull over.

I found and checked the log and the instances where it locked up are not present. Cheers, David

The machine locked up so I wasn't able to view the log, but the buffer did empty fully though in all cases (including in gear) and never quite recovered afterwards. Cheers, David

Ok... it burned an ISO of the same files, so I guess it's some kind of a buffering issue. There were about 3500 x 20KB MP3 files, so this may have had something to do with it! Cheers, David

Thanks it could well be the media, will buy Taiyo Yuden next time. ...But on the other hand it happened 3 times on the trot all at 64% complete which makes me wonder if it could have anything to do with the drive. Cheers, David

Bit of a weird one. I've got got a LiteOn DH20A3P IDE DVD burner (with the latest XY13 firmware) and it has a strange problem: If I burn a CD (Verbatim media) then it gets stuck and either has to be terminated using task manager or a computer reset, if I burn the same project on DVD (also Verbatim media) then it burns without issue. I tried burning the same data in Gear Pro Mastering Edition on CD and it did the same, though gear eventually recovered and reported a driver error 02062900h Power on or bus reset. Any ideas about why CDs are affected but DVDs aren't?
