That's not right and it shows the drive can't properly recognize the media, therefore it can't burn it Totally right... I kept trying media until it recognized a disk properly , and then i proceed to the burn, and it burned ok... hence we fixed it. I will anyhow get a regular size one, but now we know something else. thanks a lot... vamp

I hear you... I was thinking about that because, at this rate (5.00 usd per disk) and i've already screw like 10, I would be 50 bucks into my new external burner. Now i do own a couple o desktop machines so please if you might tell me.. 1) Do i want to buy an internal for the pc, or an external to use on my laptop. 2) which if any you recommend that would work nicely with verbatim disks, to burn x360 iso's? thanks again a lot for the feedback.

Ok first of all let me tell you I already did some archeoforology, and found most of this problems are caused by defective media. I thought you could be right since the file that I was trying to burn gave me the same error twice in a roll but on different percentage, so i assumed it wasn't the image, but the sony discs. Specially since i burned two verbatim with no problems. So i went and bought some more verbatim discs and the same image gave me the same error. I decided it could be the image... so I continued burning other xbox iso's. I was able to burn two more without and incident, and on the third iso (all of these are diferent iso's by the way not the same three times), it gave me an error... I came back here and since i had already rulled out the defective media, I also checked the firmware (which appears to be the latest for my drive AX03) and I read it could be caused by overheating. Since I normally burn while i'm playing WoW, the machine fans tends to work a lot ( I guess is the graphics card ), so I powered off, wait until it was totally cooled, and retry again.
