  1. i meant "medium not present". i tried it with a dvd+rw and it burned sucessfully. when i played it in my stand alone dvd player, it didnt. so i did it again, this time it played. what could be the problem. here is a log of a successful burn. but sometimes it doesnt go though using the same dvd+rw. I 01:13:29 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 01:13:29 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 01:13:29 Total Physical Memory: 2,063,664 KB - Available: 1,391,816 KB I 01:13:29 Initialising SPTI... I 01:13:29 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 01:13:34 Found 2 DVD-ROMs and 1 DVD
  2. i tried burning my iso created by dvdflick using image burn but it says something like "media not present". so i tried another method using build i added the folder video_ts then still the same result. however, when i mounted the iso file on my virtual drive, i was able to burn it to my dvdr using copy dvd in nero. what should i do? i prefer using imgburn due to its simplicity and its speed. ple ase help. here's an imgburn log ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 - Log ; Thursday, 21 August 2008, 00:18:18 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 00:17:34 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! 3. @cynthia yup, that's the disc. i was wondering why the writer ejected and went back in again. that's when i saw this " W 16:43:36 Waiting for device to become ready..." but when i played it back in my pc , it did. i chose auto on the speed.should i choose 4x? i'll try using a slower speed. thanks for the advice. @mmalves yes, i think i foced imgburn. thanks also for the advice. it looks like the media i was using was the culprit? thanks for the help. i'll try to buy another disc and see how it goes.
