  1. That disc has already been burnt with a very small amount of data, so you'll need to try with another blank disc. By the way, there's a newer firmware (1.02) available for your burner at http://au.lgservice.com/ in Device Driver -> DVD-ROM(Writer) -> page 5. Remove any disc from the burner and close the tray before applying this newer firmware. Reboot the computer after it has finished. In case you're wondering, having the latest firmware ensures best quality burns Praise the LORD.... It worked... You not only saved my BP (LOL) but you also saved my weekend... Thank you so very much... I have burnt the matter to the dvd, now the test is to see it working on a dvd player.. Will get back to you....Mwah Life Saver.... ( YOUR HELP WAS REALLY APPRECIATED)

  5. I followed all the steps given by you to burn .VOB files to DVD... The only problem is the burn button just doesn't highlight and i dont understand why... I have loads of AVI files that i needed to convert to DVD. I used VSO DivxToDVD to convert the files (which happened without any issue) and then used DVD Shrink 3.2 to Author (if that is what it was lol) them. The issue starts when i try to burn the damn thing to a disc. Help... I am not a Computer Geek, so please go easy on the language.. Please help... I really dont want to spend the weekend trying to fix this... Any help would be appreciated. Thank You...
