Yeah you're right. We have a newer laptop but my wife and daughter are on that one all the time or else I'd burn on there.. but yeah if I have the money I will. Thanks.

Yeah I figured.. I'll go get a few and see what happends.. I wish the Media ID was printed on the outside of the box so you can tell before you buy them..by the ones I have here I really can't tell. Is that norm? Otherwise you buy the DVDs they suck and good luck returning them.

Hello all! I'll try to provide as much information as I can.. I am currently using DVD FAB 5 to RIP DVD's, DVD Shrink 3.2 to shrink to fit on disk, and ImageBurn (V 2.4.2.0- the latest I assume) to burn the Image to Disk. I can actually backup the disk with DVD FAB, shrink it with DVD shrink, and I have burned it onto the Maxwell disks with ImageBurn. The problem is that neither my PS2 nor my DVD player (which is a Magnavox MWD 2205) recognizes the data from the disks when trying to play it in either player. PS2 just says "No Data" and DVD player says "Disk Error-Please Remove Disk- Playback feature may not be available on this disk." Actually, my own DVD burner isn't even recognizing it when I try to play it on my computer using Windows Media Player. It recognizes the disk as DVD-RW, but no image shows up when I click on the drive to open it up to play it. The dye may be the problem as its RITEKW and not listed as one of the recommended in the fax and I usually use Verbatim disks, however I have backed up and burnt images to these same Maxwell disks before using the exact same process as always, so I'm not sure what the problem is now. I am trying to burn Hoodwinked from an original version DVD we have so my daughter can have it to watch on her Playstation2. I've backed up and burnt other movies such as The Borne Ultimatium, Semi-Pro, etc.. just this one seems to be giving me problems.. and I've tried 3 different times now...burns fine..won't read. I've tried to clean the DVD disks but no luck either..
