  1. Add my felicitations, too. Regards
  2. You've done all you can. Does it work OK on a reboot? Or when sidebar.exe is closed? Regards
  3. Build mode writes the files directly from VIDEO_TS folder to the disk, without making an ISO file first. An ISO is a container, kinda like a zip file for the DVD files. Never make an ISO with DVD Shrink. And do post a log if you are still in trouble. Regards
  4. So this is a torrent you have downloaded? Hmmm...... Regards
  5. Normally, making an image after making a disk will result in verify errors in the filesystem area (which is where you are getting your errors). This is purely due to time and date (and possibly version numbers if you have upgraded in the interim - in this case, using Img Tools Classic may be enough). Make the image using build mode with ImgBurn and try again. There should be way less errors in sector 16. However .... Byte 1 of LBA 17 is always "C" (0x4C). This appears always incorrect. Please report back after making the changes LUK! suggested. Regards
  6. Is it always at LBA 17, byte 1 (and only there)? That sector is almost useless. But it's weird and incorrect that a 0x43 and be written as a 0x5f - there is no pattern to that. Regards
  7. Plus, the errors are near the edge of the disk, where inferior media is most likely to error out. 2 things you can do: 1. Change to Verbs and be happy 2. Be stubborn and continue to use crap media but ensure your projects leave a few hundred MB on each layer unwritten at the edge of the disk. Regards
  8. You have a simple read error. Try slowing down the burn. Perhaps also changing media to Yudens or Verbatims (does the media look at all damaged near the rim?). Ensure your firmware is up to date. Regards
  9. I'd actually 2nd the idea of an abort button but if the drive is hanging, I'm not sure there's much that can be done other than a power down. Regards
  10. Can windows read disks in the drive? Does any other program have a hold of the drive? Tried a reboot? Regards
  11. Post a log! Maybe your player is not compatible with the media you are using. Regards
  12. The 3rd one from the top is "excellently excellent" as it has the advantage of having the whole of VTS3 (and higher VTSs) on a single layer. Regards
  13. And the link in my signature. Regards
  14. Either you got a duff batch of disks (unlikely - they are the best there is) or the drive is cactus. Try cleaning it, or failing that, buy a new one. Also, check your DMA. See http://www.cdr-zone.com/articles/atapi_err...des_page_1.html for an explanation of this error. Regards
  15. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Creating a chapter is the job of the authoring program. It involves reasonably complex manipulations of the VOBs and IFOs - something which ImgBurn does not (and, as a burning program, never will) do. All commercial DVD-9s will be authored with a layer break at an appropriate position. If your project can't find one, then something is very wrong. You should post a log. Regards

    HELP!

Change these to Verbatims or Yudens. The blanks you are using are highly inferior. Since your write rate is low, check that your DMA is on. Plus, it appears you may be doing other things while burning (the drive is waiting to get data). Maybe let the PC alone. Regards
  17. Looks like a simple verify error. Check firmware and perhaps burn a tad slower - you may just have a bad blank (it happens even with Verbs). If this is the only error on this DVD, forget it. I am not sure of this plugin - ImgBurn is a standalone program which in build mode can burn from VIDEO_TS folders. Regards
  18. Unlucky numbers, I guess. Regards
  19. Do this via Help --> ImgBurn Logs. We can't answer your questions properly without one and it's little use asking new questions until we see the logs. As for your choice of media, sometimes 2nd rate stuff can be very hit and miss. Do try good stuff like Verbatims or Yudens Regards
  20. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. The image itself and region are irrelevant. You may just have a bad blank disk. Regards
  21. With that background, he's got as much chance of being elected as I do. Good luck to him though. I'd vote 1 Shamus - tax on alcohol would be non-existent!!!! Regards

    Movie_Junkie

Have a really great 60th birthday MJ (well, really 61 if you count the first one 60 years ago - if you get my drift). Regards
  23. Failing that, reboot. Regards
  24. How is this Obama fella related to Osama? I mean are they running on the same ticket? Do they stand for blowing up the government or just getting ridda George Bush (who has to go anyway, right?) :D Regards
  25. More to the point, these car nav disks tend to be dual layer PTP. If this is your case, they can't be copied. Regards
