OK, prefacing the following issue with admitting that I'm a low-life loser that knows just enough about this stuff to be a pain in the a** and probably am missing some totally obvious solution to this, yet despite my best efforts to resolve it on my own and research hundreds of posts on here I'm forced to admit my ignorance and ask for your help. That said, here's my drama in brief:
Decrypted and have file saved to hard drive which has total file size of 7,338,014,720 bytes; this was media that was 145 mins long and when I did the 'calculate' after inserting my blank 120 min DVD-R disc it obviously indicated I didn't have enough room. Duh.
To Circuit City I go, purchasing 4.7GB single sided 8x compatible DVD-R with recording time up to 6 hrs. in EP mode. I replace the aforementioned 120 min disc with this newly purchased one, and again it continues to indicate there's not enough room for the media to be burned onto it. I've tried changing the parameters from the tabs but it continues to say the same thing without any apparent change for the better.
Clearly, I'm doing something wrong or leaving something out. 2 hrs. worth of messing with it and researching it on the help forums have left me at square one. I'm sure the answer is so simple I'll want to slap myself for going through the registration and posting of this, but I'm at my wits end and out of cigs so... yeah.. HELP ME PLEASE!!
