  1. sorry if I name the thread titles wrong the disc are "8.5GB DVD+R DL 2.4X SPEED / 240 mins" and are Datawrite and I know there cheap disc but like I said they worked before and the dye on the disc are all the same i checked that after I made post just to be sure. [EDIT] I'm just putting another PC together trying my spare writer in that pc see if it works if it does then I still have no clue but it must be my PC motherboard because that the only thing i haven't changed.
  2. Hope come these disc have been working ok for about a month now with the same drive same PC etc and then just stop working all together if they work before why not now must be a reason ? and thanks for quick reply and link.
  3. Hi as you can tell I'm new on the forum I signed up because i needed to make a post I've search the net but there is no way of fixing it what I could find. I've been using ImgBurn since the first release and never had a problem before that i was using DVDD and no problems but not its getting stupid this is my problem I keep getting Failed to set L0 Data Zone Capacity! what i will do is tell you drive firmware and post log to help out and see if anyone can fix it. DVD-Writer : Pioneer 116D ( and Pioneer 112D) DVD Firmware : Pioneer 116D (Version 1.09) (DVR-116D_FW109EU2.EXE (1.1MB) updated November 11, 2008) Pioneer 112D (Version 1.28) (DVR112D_FW128EU.EXE (1.1MB) updated November 11, 2008) Ive also put a new power supply in my PC and also as you can see above brought a new Pioneer 116D only one had in shop and both fully update and I've put new IDE data cables in as well.
