Okay. Thanks. Disappointing! I just bought a 100 pack. I guess it is time to upgrade my laptop's DVD drive to a DVD-DL burner. Though it is out of scope of this thread, I would appreciate if someone can suggest a better brand/model. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5160 (Windows XP SP3, 2GB RAM, 232GB hard drive), bought in 2004.

Yes, I figured about the quality of the media after reading more threads on the forum. Latest firmware is still only 1.33. Firmware on my computer is version 1.33, but I get the same error. Same drive is what I have (HP DVD Movie Writer DC4000 / HP DVD Writer 420n. It burns like a breeze on Memorex DVD media. I am running out of them, so I bought a RITEKM16. I saw on some forums that RITEK media is a good one, and found a deal on some online shop.. bought a 100 pack and tried three already, nothing working. I am trying to write an ISO file to this DVD using DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0. Any help, will be appreciated. Thanks.
