  1. hmmmm, A very danger prescidence could be initiated here. I don't agree and wouldn't want anyone to be able to view my freedom of choice to searching for what ever the hell I have searched for. It's bad enough tracking cookies from various companies already do that, I wouldn't want the Feds starting to invade my privacy that way too.:/

  2. The beheld part comes from beholding a new Heaven and new Earth, beholding the morning and evening stars, etc. The multi-eyes on each wing is something about the great Beast having many eyes all over its body. Makes no sense. :) The name written on his thigh comes from Christ's name written on his thigh when he comes back. Don't ask me WHY he carved his name into his THIGH... I chose the of Death because of the name of the Fourth Horsemen. Another beholding part. :D

    Revelation 6:8

"and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death"

That one reminds me of the great final dialogue before you fight the final boss in Castlevania: Curse Of Darkness. :) "That weapon... YOU ARE DEATH!"

The number of a man, aka the Mark of the Beast, comes from the whole 666 thing, where the mark of the Beast is also listed as the number of a man: six hundred 3 score and six. I chose Orville Redenbacher because he's the god of popcorn. =)) Plus, the mark of the Beast can in your palm or on your forehead, so, I chose to put Orville on the forehead.

The mark of the Corn thing just followed on naturally from that.

The pale hore and rider named death is the part I was trying to remember................. now where I heard it I can't recall...... for some reason the verse stuck with me for all these years... :/

Really caught me by surprise when you quoted it a couple of posts above, changing a few words of course..........

  3. For I beheld the Corny Beast. A thousand eyes on each wing. And the name written on his thigh was... DEATH! And tatooed across his forehead was ORVILLE REDENBACHER, the number of a man and the mark of the Corn.

=))=))=)) Good one db, I do reconize that saying from somewhere, just different wording....... :lol:the mark of the Corn................

  4. Just to add an old saying, which I'm sure you guys are aware of: Guns don't kill people, people kill people. It is unfortunate that the actions of a few set the stereo typing for the majority. :( I personally don't own a firearm, although I do possess a F.A.C. ( firearms acquistion certicicate) which enables me to legally purchase a firearm if I so desire. I do have friends that own firearms who are responsible owners and handle and store their guns properly and in a safe manner. In Canada too, these responsible owners are being over shadowed by the random, thoughtless acts of those who choose to use firearms in senseless acts........ be it random shootings, robberies, or letting accesss become available to them because of careless storage or plain ignorance of gun safety.

Its really too bad that the acts of a few can affect the acts of so many. :(

  5. IZON, This looks like an error due to bad media. It may burn alright but when verifying IMGburn can't read back from this certain sector. What type of media are you burning to? Could you post a log for us. The burn't media may still play alright in a stand alone dvd player because the drive in your computer is more sensitive then stand alones. :/ Might be an idea to start using better media if this is the prob, post a log please.

  7. Sheldon, never heard of that problem before, but have provided link for you.

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?shfolder Hope this helps you out. :D

Some more info: The file shfolder.dll, is required by windows and contains functions used to display 'special' folders, such as MyDocuments, MyPhotos etc. Windows cannot operate without shfolder.dll.

shfolder.dll is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing Shell Folder Service Library may adversly impact your system.

The Spy Bot database currently registers shfolder.dll to Microsoft. This is part of Microsoft Windows.

=))=))=)) Christ lfc, should've known you'd come up with a pic like that ............ LoL. That wasn't exactly the type of Beaver I was thinking about............................. :innocent::rolleyes::lol:
  8. Hi Shamus, no won't dump it completely as it still does work great. Will keep it as a dvd rom usage drive and in case of emergencies. The A-08 was my first DVD burner and served me well. :) . Perhaps if I decide to build another machine I can put it in that one as a secondary drive.
