  1. Isn't that the same drive / model you've always had? Yes, HP sent me a free replacement for my laptop. It should be brand new. Do you think it's a problem with the make of DVD drive?

  4. I have switched to Verbatim DVDs and am still having the same problem, as mentioned before, with the lead-in. ImgBurn continues to get stuck on the lead in function. Any suggestions? 5. Hello, I am new to the forum, and have been searching the forum on problems with ImgBurn or the computer sticking on the writing Lead In process. I have just started having this problem when I got a new computer. When I try to burn a disc straight from an ISO to ImgBurn, it stops on the Lead In process, and doesn't start back up or eject the failed disc (I've waited over 45 minutes), and I have to restart the computer. When I restart, I am able to burn the ISO to disc. Can somebody tell me what the problem is, because I hate that I have to make a coaster before actually getting a working disc the next time around. (I have been using good quality discs: Verbatim & Taiyo Yuden) Thanks for the help! Here is the log: I 14:09:30 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!
