The message at the bottom of the Imgburn window is - device not ready(medium not present)

I have a disk in the drive - its a DVD-R single sided 4.7Gb X 8 speed disk

Hi, I am a first timer to using this and get the following message in the log and DVD Flick just continues to say "Finalising". I looked at this thread is it appeared to be similar to my problem, but I am not sure I understand the answere/solutions. Any advice would be welcome. I 15:16:29 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!
