  1. There is nothing else and new drivers will not help, you are infected. Do as the Boss said and use the recommended rootkit ferret program(s). Well I took you advise... downloaded and ran GMER....WOW.... Norton never saw it comming... relaunched ImgBurn and got this...... I 08:02:20 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! I 08:02:20 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 08:02:20 Total Physical Memory: 1,047,564 KB - Available: 560,612 KB I 08:02:20 Initialising SPTI...   3. Thanks for the insight.... I did disable the Norton , downloaded and ran the AVG but without success. The AVG seemed to create more conflict than I had to begin with. Downloaded 'fire- something' or 'Flame- something' scan and still no luck... removed the other 2 little guys and the new problems went away but ImgBurn still being a bad boy.... Will try Memorex drivers next and see what luck I get.... Anything else you can think of would be appreciated... hardgig

  5. I have been using ImgBurn for years now. XP and Vista had no problems ...ever..... all of a sudden today on the XP desktop... this.... W 12:39:57 No devices detected! I 12:40:26 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... E 12:40:30 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\CdRom0' (D:) E 12:40:30 Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded. E 12:40:33 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\CdRom1' (E:) E 12:40:33 Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded. W 12:40:33 Errors were encountered when trying to access 2 drives. W 12:40:33 These drives will not be visible in the program. W 12:40:33 No devices detected! I rebooted and still failed I removed the program and re-installed ImgBurn and still the same..... I love this app and really don't want to use something else....HELP... hardgig
