I took it apart and cleaned the lens, but unfortunately it's still doing the same thing. I've purchased a Samsung 22x DVD Burner (SATA) SH-S223F from New Egg for $24.99 and will give that a try

A lens cleaning disc? Are there any other ways of doing this? Maybe disassembling the drive manually and using some kind of cleaning agent with a cloth material on the lens? What puzzles me is that this drive has worked before..

Verbatim DVD+R DLs in a LITE-ON DVDRW LH-0A1P with Firmware KL0P (Latest) Device Not Ready (No Reference Point Found) That's basically it.. I've used this burner to burn onto Verbatims from this same spindle and have had no trouble, but for some odd reason the past four I've pulled out have given me a 2 minute load time to just display Device Not Ready (No Reference Point Found) Now, I've checked the capabilities that my drive has in IMGBurn's Device Capabilities and it can read and write DVD+R DLs.. I've also went and got the latest firmware from FirmwareHQ that went without errors and I have no idea if there is something I'm doing wrong or if there is something I've over looked.
