ide or sata makes little difference to me! im not using any ide ports at all atm. would you recommend the sata pioneers over the ide or not?

i was told to burn at 2.4x when backing up 360 games.

I have tried backing up a 360 game, it seemed to write fine but then on verification it had read errors. I am using verbatims on a Optiarc AD-7170S Drive it was on 1.0 firmware, but just retrying the burn as ive just updated it to 1.3. Any help would be appreciated, here is the log:
