Something is going on with your connection, did you accidentaly disconnected/pushed the USB cable? Apart of this you should disable RAID on those ports or move thenm to non-RAID ports. Optical drives not always play nice with RAID Thanks, could you explain the process, if not too much trouble.

The last two burns I did took about 11/2 Hrs. I noticed between the Write stage to Synchronize was about an hour and twenty I did not change anything started out of nowhere. Any help appreciated. I am trying to set my Auto setting's for a TYG02 to 8X. I have entered and re-entered the settings twice, instead of starting the burn at 8x the setting starts at Max. Am I doing something wrong? I love this program and use it exclusively, (yes I have made contributions, not a freeloader) I am just trying to have this program working properly. Thanks for any advice. Thanks for pointing that out, had the wrong automatic setting, changed to 8X. Btw I am going to burn a blu ray, the Vebatim disk is 2.4X , what speed should I use?

What do you mean by pirate. I was trying to make a back-up copy of a Dvd that I own. Taiyo Yuden is inferior to Verbatim? The date was before release date. Unless the time zones are different. I am on EST, in NJ, USA. The disk was not pirated.

Thanks for the reply. The TY's are premium, are labeled, made in Japan, bought them from Supermedia store, I have set IMgburn to burn at 8X for TY 02 and 03. For the most part they are ok with this Samsung burner, I have Verbatim disk's also that have had an occasional failure.I am going to try them on a Benq 1940 and a Plextor 760A for a comparison.
