  1. Hi, I have a LG, supermulti gh22/gh24 series burner. I have a old ps2 game released in 2005 which is about 3.2 gb. What backup speed should I use? The lowest speed the burner supports is 4x and the highest is 22x. Please help
  2. I have a LG GH 22 super multi burner. I want to know whether I can burn a dvd with the 1x speed.
  3. Can a mode 1/2048 possibly be a Ps2 CD game because I tried backing it up onto a dvd and the ps2 console won't read it.
  4. If my ps2 reads the ps2 CD games at 24x, will there be any problem if I backup my CD ps2 game using 24x( my verbatim cd-r's support 8,16,24,52x), or should I use 16x?
  5. Is 12x a good speed to backup a ps2 cd game if the reading speed of the ps2 is 24x
  6. Regarding to my last post, I finally suceesfully backed up my ps2 game. Hooray!!! When I go to my slim ps2's menu it reads and knows that the backup disc is a playstation 2 cd game but when I enter the game, the screen goes blank and the disc spins really loudly. I burn my backup files for Ps2 CD using 1x with imgburn Should I use a faster speed cause the reading speed for ps2 CD games is 24x? please help me!!
  7. The CD-Rs I'm using are Verbatim CD-R recordable, 700mb, 1x to 52x, 80min, green bottom. This is the disc info of the cd-r after I burned it: LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S PS0A (ATA) Current Profile: CD-R Disc Information: Status: Complete Erasable: No Sessions: 1 Sectors: 223,611 Size: 457,955,328 bytes Time: 49:43:36 (MM:SS:FF) TOC Information: Session 1... (LBA: 0 - 223610) -> Track 01 (Mode 1, LBA: 0 - 223610) -> LeadOut (LBA: 223611) Track Information: Session 1... -> Track 01 (LTSA: 0, TS: 223609) ATIP Information: Start Time of LeadIn (MID): 97m26s66f Last Possible Start Time of LeadOut: 79m59s71f It shows Mode 1 which I think are usually in DVD ps2 games, should I burn the file then to a DVD-R using 1x speed? Can I actually burn Mode 1/2048 file types to dvd? I saw from other forums that DVD Ps2 games have mode 1 while ps1 and ps2 cd-rs have mode 2, form 1. But both are also CDFS, can someone explain to me? P.S. I have a 9000X version of slim ps2, so what write speed should I use for cds or dvds?
  8. What speed should I copy it at? Its a cd-r game with a mode 1/2048 file system? Is 1x ok? Or maybe 12x?( I heard people say I should copy ps2 cd games at 12x)
  9. I have an old Kamen Rider Blade PS2 CD-R game bought in 2004. After so many years, scratches start to appear on the disc and my slim ps2 has problems reading it. I want to backup my game so I created a ISO image file for it but the image file I created had a Mode 1 File System. I thought Mode 1 file systems were for PS2 DVD-R games? I tried to burn it at 1x and 4x with IMG burn on a CD-R but my ps2 just won't read it. It recognises it as a ps2 game but after the logo, the ps2 backup disc starts to spin really fast and gives off a loud fan like noise. Should I burn it to a DVD-R ? ( though the original game was a cd-r ) Or is there any way I can convert it to a Mode 2, Form 1 file system ( for ps2 cd games ). P.S Is it alright for me to ask this questions???? But I don't want to buy another brand new copy from ebay, I've already got one but its about to spoil help!!!
