ok, thanks, i'll try those options

ok im still trying to figure this out..i download the rar files, extract them into a ISO, then i burn the dvd file..but i keep getting this error i went to HP website, updated a few things for my HP laptop, still no luck so far i wasted 4 cds..i used memorex dvd+R DL..can someone please tell me whats wrong? What is the right firmware update for my dvd burner? I have: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT20L DC03 (ATA) I'm trying to upgrade becuase i recieved an I/O error when i was burning a xbox360 dvd file.. (!)
