  1. Fixed it. I installed the Intel Chipset Software Update Program v9.xx. It automatically updated the drivers. Thanks for the help, hope this helps anyone with the same problem upgrading to Win 7.
  2. There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) but use your WinXP if you're going to update. I updated the DVD driver to 1.05 FW, and still have the problem. Also I have an ASUS P5P800 motherboard. I looked for chipset drivers, and they didnt have any. Do you have any other suggestions?
  3. Topic says it all. I have tried to burn a DVD DL and regular single layer DVD also. Both stop at Writing LeadIn... Theres nothing wrong with the discs or disc burner since I just burned a DVD DL and DVD on ImgBurn using Windows XP after ImgBurn on Windows 7 did not work. Maybe its a simple fix, I am not sure. Thanks in advance. Here is the log: Edit: (So it started the device buffer after 12 minutes of waiting. The Device buffer does about 5% every 30 seconds... extremely slow!)
