- It does not abort nicely, no. Last time I tried to abort I had to restart my computer. - Yeah, I've gone through three 50-disc spindles of the same brand of discs, occasionally getting errors from bad discs, yes, but never any freezing. - I haven't tried cleaning my drive, but the drive is only a few months old; I just got my drive replaced earlier this year, so it shouldn't need cleaning, right? - Yes, no issues with single layer DVDs or with music CDs, only dual layer is giving me problems. Hi everyone, I'm a long time user of imgburn, and just started having issues with my dual layers since upgrading to 2.5.0.0, and I'm new to this forum too. Hopefully someone out there can help me out. I always start by making an .iso file using a different program, and then use imgburn to write it to the disc. Lately imgburn has been getting to random percentages never exceeding 20%, then just freezing. The write rate drops to 0, the time to completion goes to unknown, and the program will keep running until I abort it myself. What follows is the log of an instance that I've now had running for over 9 hours, and has been frozen at 6% for the last 8 hours and 50 minutes or so.
