thankyou heaps for the reply, I downloaded VobBlanker and worked through the excellent instructions in your link, but keep getting this error message (attached). I am not sure why as I have gigs free memory in C drive.

when I use imgburn to burn a DL DVD from a 8.5GB folder created in premiere elements 7, I get this error: E 08:12:45 Unable to find any cells that could be used for the layer break!
