There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). thanks, that fixed my buffer, my device buffer still says 0%, but that isn't really a problem, as everything still works fine.

when i try to burn anything, my buffer keeps dropping, then waits for hard drive activity to reach threshold level, but im not doing anything other than burning, and it does it when i burn files from my second hard drive as well. my device buffer is always 0% too, never goes up
