Sorry for the late reply, crashed my car in the snow yesterday....................... i took your advice and there was 2 downloads from th Medion website for my pc as soon as i installed these updates the dvd writer was recognised and imgburn began the burn so, hopefully with your help i am up and running, thank you ever so much for your time and efforts...

Pc is only a month old, so as far as i know yes, not really that good on pc's......... have checked device managaer and everything seems ok ?????????? Any suggestions gratefully received thank you

Actually it is in fact its still hanging from 16.22 this afternoon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried to write lead in and failed , tried to abort and its is still hanging ?
