Will that also make it the most compatible? I need it to be read on Mac and most recent versions of Windows.

I am new to imgbrn. I am using to backup photo files. Data only, no movies, music or playable DVD. Why is Imgburn giving my files new, abbreviated and renumbered filenames? I can't have that as I need the original file name only. Is there a setting I need to change? I am doing ISO burns. My file names are long, but not too long. I was using an "_" in some file names, but also tested with no odd characters and I still got the abbreviated name change. For example: file name "Alvarado001" is changed to Alvar1" Please help me with this. Otherwise my burns have been fine. Harley
