  1. Hi Why is it that if I use another program to create an ISO they never make .mds files? I can convert a blu ray with AnyDVD to an iso - no mds file, I can use clone DVD - no mds file. I can write an image with nero - no mds file. Imgburn is the ONLY piece of software I've used to date that creates these files. That wiki page says these files are optional - so can anyone tell me how I can create working iso files without these added files? I'm using the current version of daemon tools lite
  2. Hi I've come to post here about an issue I have using imgburn. I am in the process of converting bluray disks I've bought into ISO files. Some files I convert produce only an .iso file which is exactly what I want. A lot of times however imgburn also produces a .mds file(for no obviously apparent reason)which I dont want. I play my ISO files via win 7 Media center, blu ray get played via power dvd 9 (more or less) seamlessly within media center. With standard dvds I use clone dvd. To mount images i prefer to use daemon tools, but for some reason it will not work with disks that have a .iso file and a .mds file in the same folder. If I remove the .mds then the image mounts but i get an error saying the disk is in an unsupported format. I can use virtual clone drive to mount the .mds files and it works ok, but i have other issues with virtual clone drive. I've even mounted the .mds and tried to make an image of it via alternative software like AnyDVDHD and nero and those programs make a single iso but again, these iso files give the unsupported format error. Ultimately I would like imgburn to burn an iso file and only an iso file, but it seems I cant do it. I'd appreciate any help on this.
