Hi if I have two DVD burners of different brand, could I use them both at the same time to copy a music disc or movie disc? The queue feature is pretty convenient however you could only copy a disc one at a time. Thank you.

How would we burn a video folder with the name "VIDEO_TS" so that it would play on a regular dvd player? I believe this was ripped from a dvd movie and so it has .BUP, .IFO, .VOB extensions in it. I have burned ISO image files before but I am not sure where to start on this. Do I select "Write files/folders to disc"? Or do I have to use some program to make this folder into an ISO and then burn it with imgburn? Thank you.

Nope not bad media. Sony "48x" discs that are actually 16x. I wrote them at 16x and it is pretty much unplayable. So I tried it again at 4x and it works perfectly.

No way... I thought something was fishy when I saw the advertised label said a max write speed of 48x and the disc said otherwise. Wow I should of stuck to good ole Verbatim. At least those guys are true to their words.

I bought these blank dvd-r discs from Sony about a few weeks go. Anyways on the wrapping it says it has a maximum write speed of 48x. However when I look closely at each discs, it says 16x and 1x. I thought these were Sony discs, how come it says Ritek on it? Is there something I don't know about?

Just wondering, if a disc has a maximum write speed of 16x and you burn it at more than than 16x. What would happen when you try to play the disc? The reason I am asking is because I have blank discs that have a maximum speed of 16x. I set imgburn to burn an ISO at a max of 16x. But sometimes it goes over 16x. When I play back the video, it freezes and skips. Are these the symptoms of burning too fast? Or is my drive dying on me?

The problem I am having is that even though the burning process burnt without any errors, when I play it back on my dvd player it will freeze and give a lot of artifacts. I have tried it in 3 dvd players already and they all got the same results. Could it be because the disc I am trying to copy is dual layer or protected? On the face of the disc it says in small letters "DVD Video". But on the computer it says the size of the disc is 5.7GB. I have used DVD shrink in order to shrink it into a size of 4.3GB in order to burn it with imgburn. Also on the computer the video plays back fine with no freezing at all. I have tested another DVD video and got the same result. So could it be my dvd burner is dying or something wrong with the dvd players? Because the freezing would only persist on the dvd players and not the computer. Could me burning the dvd at 18x speed have an impact? I have done every time I burnt a disc and never had a problem before. Please tell me if it is a problem with my dvd drive or dvd players.
