  1. Nope! it can't be my discs - just taken them down to my brothers and they work on his comp. I've fully uninstalled imgburn and tried again, but still get the same error on 50% of the verifying section - any ideas fellas?
  2. yeah I think ive just got a bad batch really - every disc out of 18 so far has failed on the verifying stage at around 50% no matter what settings im using - bought from my normal ebay seller - ill get a refund and get another batch!
  3. Thanks Lightning - I'll try that! I've done over 100 burns at max speed 6x and never had any problems until my latest batch or discs arrived - the aone golds have always proven to be a good, but ill try at the 3x and 4x and if not ill buy some verbas!

  6. Hi all, Wondering if someone can help me as I'm having a few issues with burning at the moment. I've always been using Aone Gold discs and have burnt hundreds of games, but recently I have been getting the error or illegal track message on the verifying part of the burn.... Any ideas?? Thanks :-)
  7. Are there any programs out there which will read a copyright disc? Or do I simply have to download the game to make a backup of an original?!
  8. Hi all, hoping someone can help me here please. I am trying to burn a copy of my Assassins Creed 2 game from the original disc, which I have bought, but i'm having some serious issues. I presumed you could just choose the img from disc option, but obivously the disc is copyright protected. Is there a way to burn these to keep them as back-up? Or do I simply have to revert to the pirating option of downloading?! Hope someone can help as I've browsed around the forums to see if i can find a guide, but im struggling. Thanks
  9. Hi All, Hoping someone can help me! I am just simply trying to find out if you can burn XBLA titles and game demos to standard CD-R discs or even DVD-R discs? They are small files, around 700MB from what ive seen online, so will this work? If this does work then do I have to burn in a particular way or just like the standard xbox 360 iso burns?! Thanks
  10. Yes I dont understand either, they are definitely in the same folder and both very similarly titled, but I cannot work my way around this.....strange!
  11. Sorry Cynthia, I don't understand what you mean. I have amended the title in the notepad and it only makes the filename longer when it says it cannot find it. When I try and add the .dvd file it says cannot open file c:\users\Paul Lofthouse.hickslaptop\desktop\xbox360\sniper ghost warrior [360] [RF] [2010] - www.gurufuel.com\sgwx360\singx360.iso I appreciate all your help thanks!!
  12. Yes the file is named like it should be, but when I go to imgburn and select the dvd file it won't work, it says it cannot find it...even though its in the same folder as the .iso file?!
  13. When I open the file with notepad it says "LayerBreak=1913760 singx360.iso" Is this correct cynthia?
  14. Hi Everyone, Hoping someone can help me. I have downloaded Sniper Warrior from piratebay.org as I am trying to backup the original. I have located both the iso and the dvd file, but the iso will go into imgburn, but it says the dvd file cannot be found even though I know where it is. Can someone help me as when I burn the iso I can only presume it will not work as I wouldnt have burnt the dvd file which contains the valuable info. Thanks
  15. Hi Everyone, hoping someone can help me. I am looking to backup an original game but after looking at the guides im still not that sure. Once I insert the original game into my drive, what option do I select from image burn etc etc? Im not a and want to do it all legit :-)
  16. :PThanks for the info its much appreciated. My first backup made, now to do the rest of the collection before my new baby breaks em all
  17. Ideal, all done now....whats the benefit of verifying?!
  18. Ideal, thanks for the reply Cynthia, its burning now, so hopefully this will work correctly this time! It justr confused me as it said the dvd file was only 47kb? But after burning its taken the iso data and looks like its burning correctly....I won't hold my breath tho! :-)
  19. I have now located the .dvd file...do i just burn this file or also the iso? As when i add the dvd file it has plenty of volume and will not add the iso into the queue aswell and says it will do it for me this time?!!
  20. Thanks for the replies! Where would I find the .dvd file? I downloaded to my C:/ drive download folder and then unzipped to my desktop into a new folder but cannot see a .dvd file anywhere...does this mean the file I downloaded is incomplete or missing something?!
  21. Nope, not working....does it make a difference if my xbox is just flashes rather than being jtagged??!

  23. Ok ill post it in a minute....but to be honest i think its the file im burning thats wrong...Ive downloaded from piratebay.org...lost planet 2....then when the file downloaded i unzipped and moved into a different location as indicated in the following video - http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-copy-burn-xbox-360-games-perfectly-every-time-272221/ - but when im locating the file on my computer i am seeing the iso. as a winzip file, with stuff contained in it..... is there any chance you could provide me with a step-by-step from the download phase so I can follow it each way!! From what I can see from my device manager my drives are PUHSX-BWDA34H Scsi Cdrom Device & TSSTCorp CDDVDW TS L633C ATA! I will try again and use another disc, which will undoubtably fail, but at least someone may be able to see where im going wrong!!
