Hi, Yes ive read that thoroughly, but when it comes to updating my firmware, It wont recognise my drive. I am using windows 7, i really dont want to have to install xp as a dual boot to get this program to work! Ive tried in all compatibility modes and windows xp mode in 7, but it still doesnt work. See the attached screen capture. PS. Why does it show up in IMGBURN as the discs only supporting 2.4x, 4x and 6x? They are 8x rated discs. Cheers.

Hi, Trying to burn 2 different ISOs (xbox 360 backups) on my new stack of Singapore made Verbatims (8x) I burned another ISO with the same discs at (2.4x) yesterday with no errors and it worked perfectly. Both ISOs got to around 40% before failing with an I/O error. Below are the log files. I have tried to update the firmware for the drive by right clicking on the drive in IMGburn and downloading the file, etc but it wont recognise the drive. (I am using windows 7). It may be noted that I am using a slimline laptop dvd drive but I have burned many xbox games before using this drive with no errors like this.
