Hello ! I m using imgburn for Bluray since a year now and it s been working perfectly with both BDMVs and ISO. Today something happened and I m not able to burn anymore. When burning start it doesn t go higher than 0,8 in speed and the device buffer is locked at 50%. eventually the process stop then restart. I m using the LG BH10LS30 any idea on how to get things working like before? it seems there is a problem with the buffer maybe. thanks

Hi ! thanks for trying to help =) Ok So if I start IMGburn first then choose an iso image. AFTER I connect the drive via USB it doesn t crash in the same way. Well this is the same as I bought from your shop and that I talked about in my previous message. Anyway, again the problem is JUST with BDR and BD-RE on 3 different machines.

Thanks, I tried on 3 different laptops and it exactly the same problem. Going to " my computer " the drives shows but crashes explorer. The only remedy is to pull the USB cable. When you say that the drive is too fast for USB 2.0, shouldn t it be always not working? Like I said previously the drives works perfectly as long as I dont feed him a BDR or BD RE. Is it like when using BDR/BD RE it need more speed for just this format? Why does it crash windows so badly then? Sorry, so many questions... My reseller claims esata is just a mater of burning speed.

Unfortunatly I dont have an expressCard Slot I have a Sony Vaio that 3 years old =( So even with eSATA to USB cable isn t good enough?

Hello, I hope someone can help me as I have looked everywhere and couldn t find any infos on just my problem =( I bought the LG BH10LS30 recently to use as an external drive so I bought a Sumvision Tempest 5.25" SATA to USB Let me try and give as much informations as possible. Drive starts normally but needs to be already powered on before connecting to the pc otherwise it causes severe windows crash. Drive Shows normally in " my computer " Drive works when inserting a CD audio / DVD movie (powerdvd starts up automatically) possible to browse a CD in Explorer too. I could Burn a ISO image on a DVDR DL using IMGBURN Inserting a BDRE verbatim or BDR Aone causes Explorer to crash severly. Inserting a BDRE verbatim or BDR Aone while in IMGburn or NERO causes the 2 programs to hang without the possibility to close them down but the only thing that helps is taking out the USB cable. By removing the USB cable I am able to prevent Explorer to crash. Conclusion is that there is a fatal issue with BDR and BD RE. There is something when the are inserted that causes crash so I think maybe there is a malfunction in the drive or maybe compatibility issue. thanks
