  1. See, it's there in the log and it's also written in the disc info box on the right within the main screen. Selecting anything other than 4x will give you the 'write speed miscompare' warning. Wow, that's pretty terrible. I didn't know there was such a thing as drives that only supported 4x or higher. Is there any magical way for me to force the drive to burn slower? I ask because I've got some software complaining that it can't read my DVDs and online forums recommend trying 1x burn speeds. Thanks, Gili
  2. Hi, I am using a ASUS DRW-24B1ST firmware 1.04. This is the latest firmware.
