  1. Yes I know what you mean,I should of worded it better, just an early start for me down here and trying to get the brain into gear But Thanks Again.....
  2. Ok,thankyou very much appreciated, yes I know I should of used Verbatims, but as explained previously I was only going by what my modder said to use and to be honest I never gave it a second thought.the last backup i did couldn't even be read by the drive after verifying, but the first disc booted up and then come up with unreadable disc around the 4-5 minute mark(unverified) so in essence imgburn picked up the errors on the second burn(verified) and prevented it from booting, does that sound feasable? I now know it's the disc(s) but I'm trying to get my head around the first one booting and the second one not booting.
  3. Ok...verified the burn, now I'm getting errors,Is this where the discs come into play,by that i mean as you pointed out with Verbatim over TDK ? I/O Error Device:[4.0]Atapi Ihas124 B ALOS (E)ATA SCI Status 0x02 Interpretation:Check Condition CDB 28 00 00 20 3B E1 00 00 01 00 Interpretation:Read(10)-Sector:2112481 Sense Area 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable error does the above tell you anything ? disc related, hardware or I'm simply doing something wrong ? 4. Thankyou for the reply,I have just realised they are TDK so my apoligies for that, that's why they have ritek,I realise it is said that Verbatim is the preferred disc but me using the TDK's(under advisement from a modder, for burn and playable quality,as TDK's are more expensive than Verbatims where I'm from) and they are working,no errors on imgburn or xbc, surely that wouldn't give me the unreadable disc about 5 minutes into the game would it?...TDK is just as good as Verbatim.Ill duck out and grab a few Verbatims and just see.
  5. Hi. I'm new to all this new burning of XGD3 with your imgburn,I'm not getting any errors when i burn, however what is happening with me is when i place my disc in to the xbox drive it boots up does what it's suppose to, gets to the same spot every time and then an error message pops up on the telly, disc unreadable, gives me a suggestion,wipe/clean disc then re-insert,the game is modern warfare 3 ripped from the Lite-On 0800 v3 and burnt with latest imgburn. What i did was stuck the original game in to see what happens, all worked fine,so then i replaced the disc with my backup and works fine ? Iv'e looked everywhere i could think of to seek an answer to this but to no avail,I don't want this happening to me all the time .I have supplied my log,is there anything obvious sticking out that is wrong? I thought i had followed the tutorial to the letter, maybe not? maybe it's not imgburn related I don't know,no errors come up in the latest xbc either.I use to have the xkey in this Phat console but removed it and put it into my slim 360,any suggestions? Thanks. The discs I am using are Verbatims from singapore but as you can see in the log it says ritek. ImgBurn.log
  6. Yes thanks very much for your assistance today, very much appreciated, but the only thing that i am at a loss with,is that my other PC will accept 2.4 X on these discs(8X)and an older version of imgburn, any inkling as to why this is possible?...Thanks
  7. If you're not going to use good quality media then at least update your burner's firmware to stand a chance of getting good burns. where i am ritek, verbatims and TDK's (Ritek also) are the best we have here mate...as you can see from log,it needs to be at 2,4 or you get skipping/jitter problems burning @ 4X or over...
  8. i realise this,i have never had any problems burning with older versions of imgburn previously, just since imgburn update, now, what i have found, and this is most likely the answer,it's the discs themselves, the 2.4X write speed has been replaced with 4,6 and 8 X write speeds, and as you can see in my log it states that, and on the box of TDK's it states 8X speed I have one burner and and older version of img burn on another PC...that burns @ 2.4 X with even these new TDK 8X discs...whats the go in your opinion?keeping in mind, apart from img updates were performed, nothing touched firmware or any other thing wise touched on ALL burners
  9. Yes i know this has been bought up before, but ever since updating imgburn i have been getting "write miscompares",my drive supports writing at 2.4X,for the TDK (Ritek) DVD-R DL,now it doesn't,in fact all of my burners supported 2.4X until imgburn updated twice.... i will post up all info next burn, which should be in the next few hours, when i get back home...
