What if the SPLIP column displays only Yes'? What is SPLIP and why is it important (or not) to position the LB on one tagged as No?

(Question Uno) What's the difference between a LB on an IFO, VOB or BUP? Which one would be the better (unrecognisable) choice? Check out attached screenshot for effect. (Question Deux) Is it typically better to choose the LB at the 50/50 point or beyond it? (Wtf) For whatever reason I'm building iso's at 50/50 where ever they're found; but the iso bup vob thing has got me asking...
