  1. I tried the Verbatium +R DL 8x and they worked! Thanks
  2. I'm using 2.4x disks now, usually the slower disks are more reliable than the faster ones.
  3. I have no idea where they are made, can't see anything on the disk that indicates this.
  4. I have read the various threads on this topic and I have updated the firmware and am using Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. My burner is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24LS50.
