You can't force the drive to burn slower if the drive can't. (if that's what you want) You won't get the message if you adapt the burn speed to one that is supported by the drive for that disc. Look on the right side in Device tab at "Supported Write Speeds:" You are absolutely right, I didn't notice that. Do you think that burning a movie at 4x in a double layer disc will make any difference compared to 2x burning?

Well, I couldn't update the firmware for the Pioneer unit, I couldn't change it from slave to master. But, I updated the firmware of another unit and everything went fine. I just got this weird "write speed miscompare" message, but it recorded fine. I have some other doubts about this cool program, but I'll make a new post for them. Thanks to both of you for helping me
