  1. Following help received here I have successfully converted mpeg files with vsoDivxToDVD to ISO and burnt to Sony DVD-R. SOund quality is good and image is pretty good but frames are a little wobbly in places and blur through transitions. I burnt at 4x speed, not sure if this makes a difference to output? Can i take any extra steps to enhance video quality before/during burn?
  2. well there you go then, i thought since i had created a film with the digital images from my hardrive camcorder that they were burnable - guess i know even less than i thought i did. will look somewhere else on the web for the answer - cheers
  3. thanks first. Guess I'll be off to Bestbuy or Walmart then :-) does seem a bit mad that we paid a ton for the harddrive camcorder, the dell system and then cheapskated on the disks... we live and learn! Also firmware checked...this was the info Displaying results DVD Region+CSS Free enables you to watch & copy any region CSS-encrypted DVD on all (including RPC-2) DVD drives without flashing firmware. 5. I downloaded ImgBurn today after getting nowhere trying to burn a dvd with Cyberlink Power Producer - however my files that I have spent 3 months compiling are saved as Cyberlink PPP mode ( i know this is not your problem) but can I use Imgburn to produce these files too? I really don't want to have to start over. I have had problems with the driver and already had Dell out to replace it....and since reading on here most of the evening discovered i have the poor quality disks. I have a new driver I am getting better disks am I ready to go by drag/dropping my existing file into ImgBurn or do i need to convert or build 'ISO' files ? How can i do this from what i already have? thanks in advance for any pointers... I am getting worn down by it all and am getting hounded by overseas family to see the DVD of babys first year - before he goes to school!!
