  5. Hey guys/ladies I am having problems with playing back some dvd i have backed up. when playing them on a standalone dvd player you can see some of the fram skipping which is really bugging me. When i watch the .img on my computer though it plays perfectly so there must be something im doing wrong. I am using a Pioneer DVR-111 dvd burner with latest firmware (v1.29) and using Verbatim Full-Face Printable (16x) DVD-R media (MCC03RG20). Any ideas of what i can be doing wrong? any help would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S. on another note i was wondering if you guys could tell me which media is better in your opinion: Verbatim (Taiyo Yuden) (16x) DVD-R (TYG03) or erbatim Full-Face Printable (16x) DVD-R (MCC03RG20) Thanx again
  6. so why is there two different types then? im jsut a bit confused...
  7. Hey guys (sorry if this is the wrong forum or has been covered before). I was thinking of getting the follwing media Verbatim (16x) Inkjet Printable DVD-R - 50 Tub. Dye Info: MCC03RG20, and before i went ahead with the purchase i would like to know if this would be good choice or if theres a better alternative out there? for the most part i want to backup my fillms but the dvds that i got down at the store keep failing. also what is the difference between dvd-r and dvd+r media and which is better? thanx in advance.
  8. whats the point in having region lockouts then if the format for different areas wont let you play the dvd anyway?
  9. i have checked the image file and it says that it has no region protection on it?
  10. Hey i am trying to burn a dvd movie i made onto a a Panasonic DVD+R (model number: LM-PR12NE10P) with a Empreix DVD+-/RW writer (model number: DRW11161M) but when i put the burnt dvd into a dvd player it either is in black and white or the screen filckers contantly, different things happen on different dvd players. However when i play it on a computer it is fine? How do i get it to work correctly on a dvd player? thanx in advance.
