  1. I went ahead and started a full format with imgburn. I unchecked the format without spare areas box in settings. Its been about an 1 hour and 40 minutes and its not done yet, at 99% for most of that. Is this normal?
  2. I bought a BD-RE disc to use to test burns so I would stop wasting bd-r discs when I mess up, I went to burn a avchd disc but it said I need to format the disc first. I did a google search and came across someone saying that I shouldn't use imgburn to format a bd-re disc. Anyone have issues with imgburn formatting, or know of what I should use to format a bd-re with
  3. So I finally researched and am able to take an .mkv movie and change the audio from dts to ac3 etc to play on a playstation 3. So I used multiavchd4.1 and I turn the movie m2ts file into an avchd. When I put the folders onto a usb memory stick I can play them on my ps3 no problem. I have tried burning the same avchd onto a blu-ray disc with imgburn, but I get nothing when I put the disc in my ps3. It shows the disc and when I select it to play just a black screen. Am I doing something wrong when I burn the avchd. I put all the folders into img burn AVCHDTN BDMV HDAVCTN IISVPL When ever I make a back-up of a blu-ray movie I have a BDMV and CERTIFICATE folder only and when I burn them onto a disc they all work perfectly. Should I put all those folders into build? Does it need a certificat folder or something? Im not sure why it wont make a playable disc.
  4. Looked on doom9. From what I gathered I had to change a settinf in the file from 5.1 to 4.1 and use tsmuxer. Then I think I just put the resulting m2ts onto a disc burn it and should play.
  5. I have tried several different approaches to this with no luck. Basically I have a .MKV file of a movie. I used MultiAVCHD 4.1 to get the BDMV files and etc.. I then used Imgburn and put it onto a blank blu-ray and it burns fine and will play on my PC. But if I put it in my PS3, it comes up as a avchd and when I click it I dont get any video playback. If I hit select to bring up the display its all blank. Not sure what the problem is. I have made several discs from other blu-rays that will play on my PS3. But these were ripped with DVDfab then IMGburn. Ive tried both the Blu-ray option and the avchd in multichd when you select the output. Nothing will play on the PS3 from this .mkv file. I just picked the ps3 option, but havent burned that yet Im wasting alot of discs. Ive noticed that the ripps I do contain the bdmv folder and certificate folder. The multiavchd files that are created do not contain a certificate. Could this be the problem? should I just add in the certificate from another movie? Ive already wasted 5 blanks. Can anyone help me out? Should I bother burning the PS3 output folders? Can I just put the MKV file into imgburn and burn to a disc?
  6. SO I am trying to burn a .M2TS file I have of a blu-ray movie onto a BD-r for play on my PS3. I just tried to make it with the "write files/folders to disc" and it burned fine. But when I put the disc in the PS3 it calls it a data disc and wont play the movie. Im new to burning blu-rays. But do I need to do something different in IMGBURN to make a playable disc or do I have to convert the m2ts file into something else first?? ANy help would be appreciated
