Hello all and a big shout out to Lightning UK for this awesome software and feedback support.
Anyway I hope someone can help.
I am trying to burn a wii iso image and followed these recommended steps:-
It burns properly but upon verification it always fails at 97% with the error message "Timeout on Logical unit"
I then updated my firmware from version DW40 to DW60 A08 which is the most recent on Dells website being released on the 18th May 2011 which gave the same results. I also upgraded IMGBURN from version 2.5.5.0 to version 2.5.6.0.
I tried again with the same above settings but this time set all speeds to 1x and got the same result. I then tried again with the speeds set at 8x which failed again but this time at 90% and gave the message "L-EC Uncorrectable error"
I am using Vertabim Discs which are TYG03 which are supposedly Taiyo Yuden which according to some (including the FAQ listed here) are good but a few other sources have said only use Vertabim which are MCC03RG20.
Laptop is less than 2 years old so I doubt it could be the burner (but I don't know a lot when it comes to these things so I'm probably wrong).
I've cleaned the drive and also ran a vacuum cleaner over the laptop to make sure it isn't a dust issue but keep getting the same results.

I've read loads of different threads concerning similar problems which all suggest updating software/firmware etc but nothings worked so far.
Any help would be much appreciated since in the last 8 hours I've made enough coasters to last me a lifetime.
