Burned fine with the plextor, old optiarc sucks.. you can close this thread

Haha.. good point, i just ordered a new Plextor PX-L890SA.. i believe this is a Lite-On clone of some kind with different firmware.. I will try to burn again with this drive and the same software otherwise to confirm if it is the drive or not. Thanks for input

The disk burned with imgburn was read by my car, but at 17.3% it claimed the disk became unreadable.. i tried to reload it 4 times but it still failed. Yes the drive in the car reads DVD+R DL, its navigation updates 3 DL DVD's. I will try burning at 4x now to see if it might be a bad batch of media etc.. i also used pressurized air into the dvd-burner to see if that helps. Hello Only that one disk, but its only the lead out that fails at 99% Could it be the "old" Optiarc 7170S that is the problem? Cdburnerxp burned without any errors.. but the disk still failed to load in my car.. I can view all the files on both computers i have here, but that is possible without lead out.. yes?
