My Game computer has two dvd writers, a plextor 12x and a philips 16x WinXPPro Problem is neither ImgBurn, or Nero will let me burn any discs over 8x, even ones which are rated up to 16x. Could this be a StarForce issue?? Yes, StarForce is on my puter uuuuug! Should I use their uninstall tool? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Getting error when trying to burn to 16x Philips dvd-r at 8x see log. However, I can burn successfully to 4x Kodak dvd-r. Is this a media problem, or is drive dying?
