  1. Oh man, I new it was there somewhere. I've really got to start reading Cynthia's excellent settings guide before asking stupid questions. Thanks though.
  2. I'm saving heaps of cd images to 'D:\CdImages'. However every time I put a new cd in ImgBurn comes up with a destination path of 'D:\Image.bin'. Why doesn't it remember the last save location? I also tried setting a location in the Settings>File Locations tab but it doesn't seem to use it. Is there an option somewhere to remember last save folder?
  3. I'm not sure what it was, blutach. Probably a combination of things. Last night I used ImgBurn to get over 20 discs done, most while DaemonTools was loaded and mounted, and there wasn't a single hitch. So it's all smooth sailing now.
  4. I think it's fixed! Done several discs with ImgBurn - both cd-r and dvd's with an image mounted in DT during the burn. Nero is also burning at the actual speed I set it to, whereas yesterday it would burn at 8-9x if set for 16x. So it must have been either corrupt Daemon Tools install or a buggy version or something. Thanks anyway guys.
  5. Wow a fellow aussie - gudday mate Ok, I'm about to install the newest and will let you know how it goes. I notice the change log mentions some compatibility issues being fixed.
  6. Hmmm, I think I was using v4.12.2 but I see there is a newer version. I also have used it for years. It's only since buying the new burner the other day I've had the serious issues. However, I'm wondering now if this is why my previous burner started acting up too. I can't put my finger on any major software changes I've made recently though, apart from updating ImgBurn. It's a pain since I was using DT to convert some cd images to a format more liked by ImgBurn. Maybe reinstalling it now would be enough to fix it. But after wasting over 40 discs in the last two days trying to get it working, I'm a little hesitant.
  7. I see several posts here saying that Daemon Tools can co-exist with burning software without problems. However I want to let people know that under some circumstances conflicts can arise. I've just been through a 2-day nightmare after buying a new burner and all my burning apps, including ImgBurn, failing to write discs successfully. See this thread for more info. So today I decided to start uninstalling apps one-by-one to see if anything was the culprit. First app was Daemon Tools. And after a reboot, all discs have burnt successfully. Now, I know this isn't really an ImgBurn problem, but does anyone know how I can get Daemon Tools back on my system without conflicts occuring? I really need to use it ATM. Do you think just disabling all the virtual drives when not needed will do it? Or could it have just been the installation order of all my apps that caused the problem in the first place? Whatever the case, I'm just happy to once again be able to use the best burning tool out there - ImgBurn all the way!
