Odd, I've overburned with DVD-Rs before. Granted it's been a while since I've tried, most likely not with the burner I have now, but still... Anyway I popped in a DVD+R (I have some of those too) and it's burning it now. Also that little process explorer utility solved the locking mystery. Apparently Firefox was hogging my burner drive, (beyond me why Firefox would be using my burner for anything), once I killed Firefox the problem was solved. And just now I got the same error as before, only this time I got the error at the end of the burn, rather than at the beginning like when I tried a DVD-R. Ok, it didn't even burn the entire disc. I used a DVD+R at 8x speed...

I am aware that the files I'm writing to the DVD-R are 4MB over the size, but I'm just going to let it overburn. (I have done this before) 2. For a while now I have been getting an error that says imgburn is unable to lock the drive for exclusive access. I click continue anyway and the burn usually gets completed successfuly--until now. So now what is this error about? Is it just not letting me overburn?

I made an ISO/burned it with ImgBurn setting the book type to DVD-ROM. (for bitsetting) On verify ImgBurn gives me this error: I/O Error! I created a DVD video ISO with ImgBurn, using the guide on this forum. However, it seems ImgBurn didn't create an MDS file. What do I have to do to get the MDS file?
