  3. I understand what you mean now, ignore my previous post. This is what I did, please tell me if it is correct. I clicked on the cog, went to LITE-ON, under change for, I selected clear OPC history, under new setting, I clicked on clear, then clicked on the 'change' box. A 'success' box came up. I did same thing for hyper tuning, clicking enable, success again. I'm guessing that is what you recommended me to do, I'm new to this, or new to having problems doing this, thanks again for your help, I'll let you know how I get on
  4. Thanks for your reply, I went to computer, right clicked my dvd drive, theres no setting, nor advanced settings. I'm using windows 7. The only relevant looking option when I right click is properties. In properties, there are general, hardware, sharing, customise, and recording. No settings as such, I've looked everywhere I can think of for settings, or advanced settings, but no luck. Any advice please? Thanks for your help so far

  6. I've been away sorry, I will post log next time it fails
  7. Hi, Whist burning certain games, (eg Skyrim, Saints Row Third,) it gets stuck at 50%. I guess this is a layer issue, but don't know how to help prevent it. I use the recommended ihas dvd drive, and Verbatim DVD+R DL. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
  8. PS, this also didn't work, though I seem to have the same issue as this person http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=19873&hl=&fromsearch=1
  9. Hi, when I burn xbox games, when I verify, it gets stuck so often at 49%. I'm guessing it's something to do with when it changes layer, as it's around the 50% mark. Any idea as to why, or more importantly, how to rectify this issue? It says it's an I/O error, but also says SK interpretation: medium error, and also says ASC/ASCQ interpretation: L-EC uncorrectable error. I tried to uploading a screenshot, but file was too big. Weird. I hope I've given enough info for somebody to be able to help me. I've read loads of I/O error posts on these forums, but nothing helps me, probably because I need to be told in real basic terms lol.
  10. OK thanks I don't understand anything from that link lol, but at least i've an idea on what kind of speeds to be copying at
  11. Thanks for the reply. I had already read this, I think it basically says there's no point in changing the settings, or at least it's hit and miss, is that right? I'm sooo new at this. Also, what speed would you recommend? Is the speed also hit and miss?
  12. Hi, I'm totally new to burning xbox games, so answer me in basic terms please. So I burn games with 50-60% success rate atm, with IHAS124 B, the other 40-50% fail to verify! I'm burning at 2.4x, am I likely to get a higher success rate if I burn slower/faster? All the settings are on default, are there any setting I could change, that could give me more success? The only thing I found which COULD help, was disabling OPC before write. Could that help? And if it could, how do I do that, as I can't find it anywhere? Thanks
