  1. Well I managed to get a workaround for the Volume ID, but now I've run into another problem. I am trying to full format some BD-RE disks and imgburn hangs my PC at 99%, I left it for 8 hours on 99% and it didn't get any further, I had to physically shut down the PC. Odd thing is I have tried the same with Power2Go 7 and it completes the (full) format in about 40 minutes. Firstly I thought it might be my drive, but imgburn does the same on another PC with a BD drive. I have read the double layer FAQs (although these are single layer 2.3x BD-REs) and am not sure that the BD-REs I am using are any good, they are shown in Imgburn as CMCMAG V3 2.3x, I have successfully erased a disk using p2g7 then used imgburn to burn data to it and the verify completed successfully and they work in 4 different BD drives, anybody have any thoughts? Should I just bin the disks or is there something I am missing in Imgburn which would explain this?
  2. Yes you are correct (sort of), Imgburn is retaining the volume label even if I switch to another mode, The volume label will change if I eject the disk and load it again - strange, it seems to happen with all BD-RE disks and also with DVD-RW too. Not really a big problem just a minor irritation really, I am so happy with Imgburn I have uninstalled all my other burning programs and now only use Imgburn - and I've donated too!
  3. Sorry my mistake, I did of course mean BD-RE and NOT BD-R (which I know is unerasable)
  4. Can someone please tell me how to erase a BD-R AND wipe the volume label? I can erase the BD-RW O.K., so I don't need instructions for that part, BUT Imageburn seems to keep the old volume label, when I erase the BR I would like to reset the label to [empty] IE the label will be nothing. I have trawled through all the settings but can't figure out how to do this. Maybe I am being a bit thick? Also it would be nice in a future version to have a seperate menu just for erasing / formatting disks. - Pretty please!
