My disk appears to have successfully burned however it took 3:12 to complete. I have yet to check whether it plays correctly to the end. Any ideas what has gone wrong? Many thanks in advance. Thanks, will give this a try. As this is the same on all of the Star Wars films I have burned so far (4 different disks), I wonder if it's worth going straight to full erase and uncheck the 'Prefer Format Without Spare Areas' option

Evening, I am having problems burning Verbatium d/l blu rays. the disks burn successfully and play fine. That's until, I presume when it gets to the layer break and then sticks for a minute or a couple of scenes. It then plays fine for the remainder of the disk. I am only guessing it's at the layer break. For example on most films which are 2hrs in total, it pretty much happens at 1hr 10 mins. These files (Star Wars!) are about 44 gb each. Is there any tweaking or setting I need to change? Many thanks in advance

Thanks, I have looked at a few of the other threads regarding this issue. I am using a laptop and the blu ray burner is a slimline external writer so don't think I connect internally? Anyway, I am reading posts stating these aren't the best writers for burning d/l especially as there appears to be no problem burning using a 25gb disk. I will try the above but will try to burn using my son's far superior desktop and hopefully this will fix the problem.

I recently purchased a Blu Ray d/l writer.
