My panasonic is a blu ray player!

I cannot return these 50gb discs and was hoping that there would be a solution to this problem. Is there?

I applied the fireware and tried again to burn using the 50gb tdk bd-re disk but with no success on my blu ray player! Brought a new LG Blu Ray Burner model HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH12LS38 1.00-D2 to burn mkv files and I'm using TDK BD-Re 50 GB dual layer discs. It plays on my pc but doesn't play on my Panasonic DMR-BWT700GL, there are no files showing on the tv screen. I have burned Sony 25gb BD-RE using imgburn and that worked fine but it was a different burner, but because it was brought in 2006 it didn't work with 50gb discs so I brought this one.
