I just purchased a blank 50GB BDRE disc (TDK 2x) off eBay, which I'm testing to verify if the disc is any good. The disc appears new, and was unformatted (took me 6 hours to format and zero the disc at 2x speed.) Now I'm trying to fill it up to test it, by writing nearly 50GB of random data (recorded .wtv video from my WMC folder). I had to use "UDF" format in order to record some of the largest files. The write process went fine (over 3 hours @ 0.9x speed), but verification is producing the following error: "Failed to read Sectors ####### - #######. Reason: Illegal Mode for this track." The verify process didn't halt (I did get a "Cancel/Try Again/Ignore" dialog after about 18 minutes) and is continuing despite the warnings. I just spent 15 minutes sorting my MP3's to play in my desired order (by genre), and burned my CD only to discover ImgBurn SORTED my MP3s alphabetically upon burning! (confirmed by listing files from the "DOS" Command Line). I discovered this when I went to play my CD and my chosen first song wasn't first even with "Shuffle" off. Tried a different player... same thing. Why did ImgBurn SORT my files before burning? What's the point of adding the ability to move files up/down if it's just going to resort them anyway? Is there any way to turn sorting OFF?
