I am afraid that I don't understand that. I have used media that has worked with other software and other writers. So the problem must lie with the software, the writer of the combination of the two. The help topic quoted above seems to imply that you can only use Verbatin discs which is plainly rediculous unless that software doesn't work with other media. Brian

I have been trying to burn DVD's with DVD -R and DVD +RW using the DVD-RW AD-7701H USB writer. I have no success. I have tried erasing the RW and rerecording but I get the same error every time .'layouts do noy match' I wonder if this writer and Imgburn are not compatiable.
