  1. I wish I could get it to work like a charm.. well, get it to work all would be nice. I'm having so many problems with imgburn, I just don't understand, and I've spent hours and hours reading forum posts. To start, do you start with build mode? ripit4me opens imgburn then i get all different error messages from cannot read vob files to file too big to fit ...
  2. I am just confused I guess, because ripit4me opens DVD decrypter (actually IMGburn).. almost immediately... is that not supposed to happen? If so, maybe I have the imgburn settings wrong.. ohhh
  3. Well, I guess I am just not meant to do this anymore. Been successful for 3 yrs, suddenly nothing working.... now imgburn asks me to select a file and not just rip the dvd.. .I'm just lost... :(
  4. I went to the firmware dictionary and entered LG 4166B and downloaded it from there. Should I use the link you provide above now or will that further complicate things...???
  5. I went to the firmware page, and found LG 4166B.. .downloaded it, zipped files opened, all looked good, until I got the error message "Not detected Target Drive"... The drive still recognizes a disk inside.. did I mess something up????
  6. Probabaly a silly question, but how do I find out what kind of disk drive I have... I have an HP Media Center but the drives were already installed...
  7. When running rip4me it opens imgburn fine, then stops quickly with the i/o error - spindle servo failure??? Thanks for any help you can provide... 8. Oh I see, I've tried 4 different brands of DVDs, thanks. Can you please tell me what sort of "issues" and problems are discussed here so I can better understand? Thanks again.
  9. Burning DVDs used to be so simple. I never had a problem, using DVD Decrypter then opening file then using DVD Shrink. I have lots of different programs installed on my computer now, just trying to get anything to burn, however, I can get kids cartoons and older movies to still burn. Can someone please tell me the order in which to run everything... I will list things that I have installed: DVD Rebuilder DVD Fab FixVTS, version 1.402 and Fixvtsbeta1.24 PgcEdit DVD43 Obviously, Shrink, IMGburn Lately the error message I get during the Burn (using IMGburn) is I/O error. I'm also so confused about the VOB files, ISO files... I have been doing tons of reading on the forum at DVD Shrink and here... and it's just not making much sense... I have decided that you must need to be a huge computer wizard to burn them now..haha... Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Pam
