Not sure if this is to be expected: My XP system equipped with an older LG SATA BD-writer (see log) creates perfect BD-R copies every time using ImgBurn, but the maximum write speed is only 0.6x or .7x! Shouldn't it be closer to the 2x or 4x advertised value?
When I write BD-R discs using DVD Architect Pro 5.0, they write at a faster speed and report no errors, but the discs sometimes have data errors on them. That's why I'm using ImgBurn - RELIABLE!
Should I just live with the .6x max write speed, or is there some problem (cable, driver, drive?) I can fix?
A log file is attached.ImgBurn.log
Thanks for any suggestions. -ChuckT
